An office job is 9 to 5 and no weekends tho. I am trying to help and give you valuable info. I even stuck up for you to superdave.  Please do not make excuses and make me look like a fool.  There are jobs that are 9 to 5 in your area I checked. 

At first I kind of agreed with some of what you said, then I kept reading.  I agree that with 4 kids it is hard and you should not have kids if you cannot afford them, at least I should say I USE TO agree with that.  Times are alot different right now, it is not the good old Democratic Days when Clinton was in office and there was a job around every corner.  I am in Michigan and have never ever had money problems, until this year.  We ran a sucessful roofing business for over 10 years, we were not rich, but we could pay our bills.  This year is a different story.  Thank God, work is starting to pick up, for now at least, but it could stop at any moment.  I have a child who is terminally ill and has medical bills and extremely expensive medicines.  I would NEVER talk to someone the way you are to mothersloveof4.  She is obviously on here because, like all of us, she needs some help and needs to vent some.  Do you honestly think she is on here just because she has nothing else to do?  You sound like a very bitter person and that you are mad because someone might help her and not you.  Maybe you need to rethink your attitude and realize that no one will help you with an attitude like that. 

If you get on Aid from the state they will pay your daycare for you while you work.  Problem solved with that one.

When we closed on our house, our closing costs were over $9,000.  Luckily, times were better last year and we quit spending money and saved every penny.  You can ask the seller to pay closing costs.  Alot of times they will.  If you are that much in debt already, honestly it may not be the smartest time to buy.  That is alot of debt.  If your credit score is not even a 650, you are going to get screwed on an interest rate.  Right now with the mortgage crisis I am very surprised they would even give a mortgage will a credit score under 700.  I hate to say it, but you may have to continue to rent for awhile.  If not, raise your credit score, chip away at your debt the best you can and ask the seller to pay the closing costs.  Good luck.

I read your blog about losing weight and not having any clothes.  The local salvation army gets clothes donations, you get get work clothes there for free.  Also, there is a charity there that gives women work clothes for free also, I cannot remember their name, but you should be able to contact them thru your welfare office.

I have a special needs child and need financial assistance.  I cannot pay my bills and my vehicle just got repossessed.  I do not know how I will get my son to his next doctor's apoointment.

We run a small roofing company and the jobs are just not there this year.  I fell behind in my mortgage, utilities and obviously my vehicle payments (hence the repo for being 2 months late...thanks Chrysler).  I do not know how I am going to pay the bills this month or how I will get my son to U of M for his check up appointments.  I have never asked for help before, but now I have to and I do not know where to turn.  Please, any information would be wonderful.
